This is bittersweet news that I will be closing my Shop on the Hwy. After much soul searching I have realized that I have my priorities completely out of wack! I am not sure which way to turn and our daughter will be graduating this year and AW will be home for the next 4 years and I am beginning to feel that my eggs are cracking and my sweet little birds are going to be off and all flying soon. I don't want to miss out on that....My wonderful friends that are involved in the Shop with me have been soooooo supportive in my decision that they have assured me that this is the right thing to do. I have so loved having my Shop open but I need to slow down a bit and clean up the mess I have created! "WOW" If SW heard my confession I would give him a heart attack! I couldn't handle that. The Shop will remain open probably through at least June and maybe into July. I will then take the rest of the Summer off, clean my house, start making my bed again (sorry, but that just killed me to really admit that!) Clean my yard up, spend some quality time with my family etc..... I / We will have a sale probably at Christmas at a local place here in town and maybe one next Summer. I will miss everyone that comes in and chats with me, I will miss seeing people on a daily basis but I know in time I will have my priorities back on track and that is a "good thing".

ReplyDeleteIt must be a hard thing to give up your little place. I'm sad I haven't got to visit it. But what you are doing is a good thing, and so Brave!
